Job description

As a Product Data Analyst, you’ll work closely with the Head of Product Development to shape and deliver the company’s product strategy. This is a multifaceted role that combines market analysis, product development, and project management to ensure successful product launches and enhance existing product lines. You'll work across several brand channels, supporting growth and innovation in this highly dynamic sector.

Responsibilities:

Market Research & Competitor Analysis:

  1. Conduct comprehensive global category analysis, including competitor strategies, pricing, and market share insights.
  2. Monitor and evaluate competitor activities and emerging consumer trends to inform product strategies.
  3. Use social listening tools to identify and translate beauty trends into product opportunities.

Product Development:

  1. Lead the end-to-end development of new products, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and to specification.
  2. Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers in Europe and the Far East to manage product quality, timelines, and costs.
  3. Research market trends and create detailed product briefs for new launches.
  4. Ensure regulatory compliance across all products, managing safety assessments and documentation.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, design, and supply chain, to execute the product development calendar.

Experience Requirements:

  1. Must have experience in cosmetic product development, data analysis, or a similar field.
  2. Strong knowledge of cosmetic ingredients and formulations.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience managing multiple projects.
  4. Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment.
  5. A collaborative mindset, with strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.
