To perform comprehensive assessments of and develop treatment plans for adults with diagnosed or suspected ADHD under clinical supervision of a consultant psychiatrist and/or associate specialist.
To initiate and monitor the pharmacological treatment with ADHD medication (as non-medical independent prescriber).
To provide information, education and support for service users and their carers re coping with diagnosis and treatments.
To provide clinical leadership to the Adult ADHD team in the care, treatment, and therapy of the client group, with a clear focus on clinical risk and its management.
To perform regular caseload and waiting list reviews on RiO and provide operational management for the admin team.
To interpret national guidelines and relevant research to inform local practice and procedures to achieve best practice. To maintain own expert status by developing training and improvement projects underpinned by research and legislation. To take part in and facilitate audits relevant to patient care.

In order to meet the needs of the Trust you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. This may mean that you are required to work at any location that falls under Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey or Islington.
