Derbyshire County Cricket Club are seeking a senior professional to join its Board of Directors as a Non-Executive Director responsible for Finance.
The Club is looking for someone who can complement the existing Board of Directors with a background and experience in a senior finance role. This is an appointed Board role and as well as being the Board lead overseeing the club's finances, the role will also involve chairing the Club's Audit and Risk Committee.

It typically involves attending around 12 monthly Board meetings per year, as well as preparation time and attendance at ad-hoc meetings outside of this. The estimated time commitment is no more than 10 hours per month, and this will include chairing the Audit and Risk Committee, which meets a minimum of four times per year.
In line with the Club's Rules, the Non-Executive Director - Finance must have the following skills and qualifications:
Appointed members of the Board shall be appointed for an initial three-year term and up to a maximum of three terms in total, up to a maximum of 9 years.
This Non-Executive Director role is a voluntary, unpaid position, and the appointment will be subject to being ratified by the Club's Membership alongside other Board positions at the Annual General Meeting in March 2025.
