An established industry player is looking for a dynamic Non-Executive Director to join its Board. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the lives of disadvantaged children and families in Bradford. Established in April 2023, Bradford Children and Families Trust has at its heart the sole purpose of enhancing the quality and delivery of children's services across our city and district. Our mission is clear, to ensure that our promise to improve the lives of children and young people in Bradford becomes a reality. It's a tough ask! It requires dedication, determination, and resilience, but under the stewardship of a dedicated senior leadership team, supported by a committed and passionate board, we are confident that we will achieve our ambition, and deliver the best outcomes for the children, young people and families of Bradford.
Our board, created in shadow format in 2022 before being formally established in 2023, are a group of experienced leaders, bringing together a range of knowledge and skills that provides independent support and challenge to the Trust. We are now in a position to appoint a new Non-Executive Director, seeking someone who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and families in Bradford. This is a unique opportunity for a visionary and dynamic individual to join our Board, contributing to the great progress we are making, striving for excellence in the services that the Trust delivers.
We are seeking someone who brings a wealth of experience in senior leadership roles and with an understanding of the broader policy context in which the Trust operates. Our goal is to create a Board that truly reflects the rich diversity of the communities we serve, bringing a creative and inspirational approach that empowers the organisation. We are committed to continuous improvement and need leaders who can inspire and guide us on this journey, working collaboratively with our many partners and helping to guide the Trust as an independent organisation.
Further info
As a Non-Executive Director, you will receive a daily fee of £600. You will be expected to dedicate at least two days per month to this role. Additionally, the Trust will cover all reasonable and properly documented expenses incurred while performing your duties.
