Job description

About the Role:

We are actively seeking a NMA Scheduler to join our friendly, dedicated team that ensures our customer needs are met in an efficient and timely manner. An excellent telephone manner and problem-solving skills are a must.

You will utilize the systems to optimize and create productive, efficient, and deliverable schedules for our reinstatement crews, confirming all of the logistics and supply chain elements required to ensure the job can be completed on time, right first time. The role will require a proactive, logical approach, whilst also having an ability to react accordingly to workloads and priorities in order to achieve our business KPIs.

Location: Pride Park, Derby, Derbyshire.

Hours: 40 hours per week - 07.30 - 16.00

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum

Responsibilities - but not limited to:
  • Use information received from multiple sources to create high-quality field operations within our workforce management system.
  • Keep our customers informed on the status of their work requests and explain the steps required to complete necessary work to their satisfaction.
  • Produce effective and efficient plans by utilizing data to ensure priorities and SLAs are met.
  • Produce reporting to demonstrate utilization of resource.
  • Proactively look for opportunities to improve processes and feed ideas into local meetings and continuous improvement groups.
  • Effectively use NRSWA knowledge to ensure work is delivered right first time, with no financial impact.
  • Ability to react in situations where plans and priorities change at short notice.
  • Work in collaboration with field operations to ensure schedules are deliverable.
  • Work to service levels that achieve the customer and company’s required outcomes.
  • Liaise with the highway authorities to ensure compliance with street works regulations and guidelines.
Experience and qualifications required for the role:
  • Strong IT skills across the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Knowledge of Street Manager system and SAP interface to maximize outputs.
  • Experience of liaising with external bodies (e.g. Highways authorities, local councils) - Good understanding of street works or hold a NRSWA card.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze complex information.
  • Great communicator with experience of managing customer expectations.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic and changing environment.
Desirable:
  • Knowledge and experience of using SAP and SWIMM systems.
  • NRSWA qualification.
