My client, who is a leading manufacturer and distributor of retail products, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business with a people-centric culture.

Warehouse Shift Manager Requirements:

• Experience using a WMS system
• FLT License or previous experience using an FLT (Bendi/REACH preferred)
• Experienced using computers and office packages
• Experience managing teams and delivering training
• Ability to make decisions and act autonomously
• Experience with conducting return to works
• Experience managing KPIs
• Experience dealing with a high volume of SKUs
• Ability to motivate a team to achieve targets
• Ability to hold briefings
• Ability to think quickly and clearly under pressure

Nightshift Warehouse Manager Duties:

• Ensure all workload targets are met daily, in line with business expectations.
• Responsible for all H&S issues within the area supervised and notify line manager of any H&S incidents or near misses.
• Conduct RTW for staff on the shift and ensure a consistent approach to the absence policy.
• Ensure hygiene standards are high when handing over the site to the day team.
• Drive efficiency across the team, working with senior management on initiatives to improve performance.
• Report any IT/System issues to the IT manager and Site Manager with detailed reports to ensure resolution.
• Be flexible in terms of working hours to ensure completion of all role aspects to a high standard.
• Build close working relationships with other areas of the site.
• Report any truck issues immediately to the H&S Manager and ensure all trucks and batteries are used efficiently.
• Manage performance of any staff not meeting required capability or conduct levels in accordance with the escalation process.
• Plan the workload for the team to set the day team up with a clean and clear warehouse.
