Nightshift 5 Axis CNC Programmer

Location: Ely (CB7)
Duration: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours over 3 nights - Monday - Wednesday (includes 3 paid breaks) 18:00 hrs - 06:30 hrs.
Salary: up to £22.43 per hour (includes 25% shift allowance)

Polytec are looking for a skilled 5 Axis CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator to work nightshift for our Ely based client. You will complete 37.5 hours over 3 nights, Monday - Wednesday 18:00 hrs - 06:30 hrs.

Responsibilities:

1. Review parts produced, drawings and instructions to understand required specifications.
2. Documenting work done accurately and comprehensively.
3. Monitoring machines to achieve optimum outputs.
4. Seeking continuous improvement in all processes.

Requirements:

1. Experience with Fanuc controls.
2. Excellent CAD/CAM skills, able to program components offline ideally with Hypermill or OneCNC.
3. Experience with 5 axis programming, setting and operating.
4. Ability to read and interpret complex drawings.
5. Excellent team skills, attention to detail and good problem-solving abilities.
6. Potential to lead a team in the future.
