The Role
We are seeking an outstanding individual to join our night shift cleaning team as the Night Shift Train Cleaning Team Leader, based at Carlisle Station. In this role, you will be part of the night shift cleaning team, ensuring that every passenger's journey is clean and comfortable. The night shift team is crucial in maintaining high service standards, and as the team leader, you will be responsible for supervising and guiding the team to achieve the highest cleanliness standards during your shift. Your role will be essential in overseeing the night shift cleaning team's efforts to efficiently complete their cleaning tasks and deliver top-quality results.
Roster Plan
The roster plan covers working from 20:00pm – 06:00am, on a 4-week rotating pattern working on either 3 on 2 off, 2 on 3 off or 2 on 2 off. This roster pattern is likely to change in the New Year. Full flexibility to work on the week is required with overtime often available at management's discretion.

Pay Rate & Benefits
The pay rate for the Night Shift Train Cleaning Team Leader position at Carlisle Station will be at £13.56 per hour on an initial 6-month basis. Training is provided covering depot protection, site safety, and cleaning solutions. Work is undertaken in a safety-critical environment, so you will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screening.
