Job description

Night Shift Maintenance Engineer

(Food Manufacturing)

Wembley, West London

£53,000

Here's a role that doesn't involve fixing the same broken widget every night.

A well-established food manufacturer is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to keep things ticking - and ideally improve how they tick in the first place.

You'll be dealing with all sorts of gear: electrical, mechanical, maybe some pneumatics, PLCs, sensors - the usual suspects in a fast-paced food environment. One minute you're fault-finding, the next you're tweaking setups, running PPMs, or working on a CI project.

They like people who can think for themselves, work solo or as part of a team, and handle a bit of pressure without bursting into flames. Electrical bias is handy. An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is expected.

Solid package, decent people, plenty of opportunity to do more than just stick duct tape on broken kit.
