Night Manager

Night Manager required for our client, a hotel, located in the Eastbourne area. Live in is available if required.

For this opportunity of NIGHT MANAGER, you will have had previous night’s experience or similar hotel supervisory night or day reception experience. Your role will report to the Front of House Manager, leading a Night Team of three.

Responsibilities for the role of Night Manager:

1. Welcoming late arriving guests and escorting them to their rooms
2. Assisting guests with luggage
3. Providing advice on hotel facilities as well as local places of interest
4. Valet parking cars
5. Preparing snacks and serving food and drinks
6. To ensure the hotel is safe and secure for guests and staff by completing regular security patrols and fire checks
7. Completing rotas, appraisals, team training and assisting with recruitment where required
8. Please note this is a night time role working various hours between 11pm and 7.30am, 40 per week, including weekends, over five days

Requirements for the role of Night Manager includes:

1. Clean, valid UK driving licence
2. Possess a welcoming personality to make the hotel an experience to remember, whilst retaining the ability to be assertive when required
3. Previous experience within a hotel environment essential.
4. Previous nights experience preferred
5. Have excellent English language skills, verbal and written
6. Be physically able, as some heavy lifting is required

The salary for the role of Night Manager is given as £27,365 plus a share of the service charge iro £1,200 / per annum (the service charge varies). Other company benefits available / Live in is available with this role.
