An excellent opportunity has arisen to join Kingdom Cleaning as a Full Time Night Cleaning Supervisor, working at a site in the City of London, EC4A area.

Hours: On average 42.5 hours per week. Monday to Sunday 22:00pm - 06:00am.

Pay rate: £31,749.96 per annum. 

The Cleaning Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of cleaners in the cleaning of all areas within the site.

Achieving high standards, you will ensure the service is operated safely and hygienically.

To Lead a team who actively participate in delivering a first-class service. Be professional, pleasant, friendly, courteous and helpful at all times whilst carrying out your duties.

Job Summary:

  • Reporting directly to the Night Assistant Operation Managers. The purpose of this role is to provide and deliver best value, quality cleaning.
  • Through completing duties to the site specifications as required in the cleaning schedules.
  • This position has responsibilities for coordinating activities within the assigned program. This includes the company employees and other temporary employees engaged in the program and is responsible for a significant portion of the daily activities.
  • Inspects areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with agreed standards and all regulations.
  • This position is responsible for the coordination of multiple teams, to ensure areas of responsibility are cleaned in line with site specifications and work order SLAs.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure all staff maintains safe working practices through implementation of Company and Client Health & Safety Standards.
  • Ensure the delivery of cleaning meets agreed standards & site specifications through the completion of cleaning schedules.
  • To show self-motivation and a proactive approach towards problem solving and improvements need to keep standards in line with the SLAs.
  • Responsibilities for the cleaning operatives to include: planning, assigning, and directing tasks; performance evaluations; reward schemes; disciplinary issues.
  • Assist the Asst. Cleaning Managers with developing and training new starters & operatives on cleaning methods to achieve required standards of performance.
  • To ensure all areas are kept clean and presentable through Operatives.
  • Develop and facilitate working relationships with CBRE/ GS personnel.
  • Understand cleaning SLAs and ensure all requests are responded to quickly and efficiently within SLA, and escalate any situation where this is not possible.
  • Report any problems with staff training and performance to line manager.
  • Train and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Monitor work activities.
  • Perform quality, service, and safety inspections, Including toolbox talks.
  • Track equipment inventory, maintenance and repair.
  • Ensure consumables are sufficiently stocked at all times and order stock weekly.
  • Maintain records, i.e. training, inspections.
  • Carry out any cleaning and associated tasks as per your allocated schedules, assisting all members of the cleaning team during absences.
  • Liaise with colleagues to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide written reports to line management as required.
  • Report any building defects and hazards to the Helpdesk for a ticket to be raised.
  • Demonstrate a high standard of personal hygiene and personal appearance.
  • Ensure regular attendance and punctuality, following company procedures for holidays and sickness.
  • Maintain a pleasant courteous and friendly attitude to clients and customers.
  • Meet company expectations in relation to conduct and performance.
  • Ensure that the operatives keep equipment clean, stored correctly and in working order.
  • Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules.
  • Reports accidents and incidents to the Management immediately.
  • Complete monthly audits in line with the client requests. 

Requirements 

  • Previous cleaning supervisory experience essential.
  • Professional, friendly and polite.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Valid First Aid at Work qualification (not compulsory - training will be provided).
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Adaptable to change and flexible to working hours.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Proactive with a can-do attitude, has initiative and can work within given timeframes.
