Job description

Are you enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of older adults? Join our friendly and supportive team at Willow Gardens, an Extra Care service where older people live independently in their own homes, with access to dedicated care and support in a vibrant, community-focused environment.

As a Night Care Assistant, you will take a proactive role in supporting our Service users with assessed care and support during the night.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a high-quality Care and Support service delivery.
  • Supporting and maintaining independence and providing individualized personalized care. Recording on the appropriate documentation.
  • Administering Medication as required and in accordance with their Care Plans.
  • Participating in Training available to all Staff.

What we are looking for:

  • Be willing to complete NVQ Level 2 qualification in Care (or equivalent).
  • Have literacy skills and be a good communicator.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience working with vulnerable adults, including individuals with disabilities and dementia.
  • An understanding of care standards and some knowledge of the CQC inspection framework.
  • A good understanding of Extra Care services, covering both social care and housing management aspects.
