NHS Dietitian - Oncology/General Dietetics

Contract Type: Locum ongoing contract

Dietitian Pay Rate: £29.47 per hour (assignment rate)

Main duties of the Dietitian:

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for oncology patients, including those undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or post-surgery.
• Develop, implement, and monitor tailored nutritional care plans for complex conditions like cancer cachexia, enteral feeding, or gastrointestinal complications.
• Provide expert guidance on general dietary management for a range of conditions, including malnutrition and chronic illnesses.

Requirements of the Dietitian:

• Degree or equivalent in dietetics.
• Recent UK experience working as a Dietitian.
• Registered with the HCPC to work in the UK.
• Experience working in inpatient Dietetics and oncology experience.
• Car driver preferable.
