New Homes Consultant

Our New Homes Consultant will be a highly motivated individual working as part of our team to achieve a high level of success. The successful candidate will ideally have previous working knowledge and experience in either estate agency or Land and New Homes. Exceptional communication skills are essential, as is the requirement to be comfortable dealing with people at all levels. You will liaise with the Northern Estate Agencies Group branch network, solicitors, developers and mortgage companies, ensuring that deadlines are adhered to and client expectations are met, managing and resolving any complications along the way. You should have exceptional administrative and organisational skills which you will use to manage a high volume of tasks within a fast-paced environment.

A minimum of 1 year industry experience required. We are looking for candidates who can evidence previous experience in a busy customer focused environment. The successful applicant will need to have a high degree of self-motivation, strong verbal and written communication skills, along with an eye for detail, quality and accuracy and be prepared to travel as required across the branch network covering West Yorkshire and Lancashire.

General Duties

  1. Understand our developer and buyer requirements and how they relate to our products and services.
  2. Liaising with our developers and branches to ensure that the marketing & sales management of new homes, part exchange and sales assist properties in the most appropriate manner to maximise the sales value and provide excellent customer service levels.
  3. Branch support and guidance for to ensure a smooth journey for developers and purchasers.
  4. Progress sales from reservation to completion and where necessary facilitate handover to a buyer.
  5. Maintain existing developer relations and identify new business opportunities plus promote ancillary services such as mortgages & Conveyancing which will generate revenue and enhance the customer experience.
  6. To be responsible for accurately recording all information collated from telephone and face-to-face contact on CRM system.
  7. Promote relationships with PX/Sales Assist, Sales Managers with our branch network.
  8. Conduct viewings and new homes-related appointments as required.
  9. Cover manned new homes developments where operationally viable (holiday/sickness/promotional activity)
  10. Maintain and continually communicate and update personal knowledge of new legislation affecting the new homes sales market.
  11. To fully understand, manage and operate Company policies and office procedures.
  12. Ability to undertake duties required of colleagues during periods of absence.
  13. Undertaking other duties not specifically stated which from time to time are necessary without altering the nature or level of responsibility.
