THE ROLE
As an Account Director focused on Business Development and Marketing, you will be a key driver of our agency's success. You'll leverage your deep industry knowledge, established network, and proven ability to build strong relationships to identify and secure new clients through collaborative partnerships, whilst also playing a critical role in developing and executing our agency's marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through the development of strategic partnerships, leading proposal development and presentations.
- Relationship Building & Networking: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers. Attend industry events to network and generate leads through relationship-building.
- Strategic Planning: Play a senior role in the team to develop and implement strategic growth and marketing plans. Analyse market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
- Proposal Development & Presentation: Lead the development of compelling proposals and presentations that showcase our agency's capabilities and value proposition.
- Burson marketing: Participate in the planning and execution of events and delivery of thought leadership engagement to support prospect and client engagement.
YOU’LL BRING ALONG WITH YOU
- 6 years + of experience in business development, partnership development, client consultancy or related field, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets through collaborative partnerships and contributing to marketing initiatives.
- Deep understanding of the industry landscape and key trends.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- A passion for building relationships and driving growth through collaboration.
- Experience with social media marketing, event planning, and content creation.
OUR LONDON OFFICE
Burson employs over 450 people in the UK, and our stunning Southwark offices run over two floors as part of the larger WPP Campus, Rose Court. We have access to a beautiful roof terrace with panoramic views across London and a bar/restaurant area, which is a great spot for client meetings and socialising with the wider agency and other WPP OpCo’s.
