An established industry player in insurance is seeking a dynamic professional to join their wholesale team. Are you an insurance professional with at least 4 years plus commercial experience? Are you looking for a role that is a little bit different from the norm, where you can use your experience gained in commercial broking to move into a role where you will be responsible for developing broker relationships, and get the chance to do some underwriting under a DA too?
We have a unique opportunity for you to join a market leading insurance brokers wholesale team, who specialise in care based insurance risks. Your role will be to develop and manage a number of broker relationships within this firm's broker network, being the new business champion for the Care team there, and challenging your brokers to trade with you and your business.
This will include the opportunity to underwrite care risks under this broker's binder, as well as the day to day development of a large panel of brokers within this business's network of brokers.
This role will be mostly office based; however, you will also get the opportunity to get out and visit your broker clients at points too.
This would suit you if you are currently a Business Development Exec/Manager or Account Executive, who is perhaps looking for something that offers you the chance to operate in a niche and the chance to move into a role that offers some underwriting exposure without losing the sales and relationships side of things. This could also suit a strong sales-focused Commercial Account Handler too!
You will be rewarded with a starting basic salary of £42-45k depending on experience, with quarterly bonuses available after probation (around £1250 a quarter) with 26 days holiday plus BH's. They also offer an extensive flexible benefits package too!
They also offer hybrid flexible working, with Mondays and Fridays being worked from home.
Working Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm.
