Memorial Healthcare System's Neuroscience Institute is seeking neurohospitalists to join a growing, sub-specialized neurology group. All candidates must be BE/BC in general neurology. Candidates fellowship trained in neurohospitalist care, vascular neurology or neurologist with advanced stroke training are encouraged to apply.
Selected physician(s) will provide stroke and/or general neurology consultation for evaluation and management on a wide variety of neurological conditions, including but not limited to stroke, TIA, seizure, headaches, and multiple sclerosis at Memorial Healthcare System. Additionally, the physician will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of fellow neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuropsychologists, and neuroradiologists to provide cutting-edge neurological care. This is a full-time employed position with the Memorial Physician Group. This is an inpatient-only opportunity, providing 24/7 coverage, with a week-on, week-off schedule.

Memorial Neuroscience Institute uses advanced technology and innovative procedures to treat a broad spectrum of neurological conditions, including neuro oncological, neurovascular, neuromuscular, and neuroinflammatory. The institute offers a wide range of surgical services including pituitary surgery, functional neurosurgery, cerebrovascular neurosurgery, and spine surgery. Memorial Neuroscience Institute also offers minimally invasive procedures such as image-guided brain surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery, and neurovascular intervention. The institute has been named a Neuroscience Institute of Excellence, is a Level 4 Epilepsy Center by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC), is an Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center by the Joint Commission, and has been awarded the Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite Plus Achievement Award for excellence in treating stroke.
