Job Description:

Home Grown is not your typical Club – it’s where business meets unusual: entrepreneurs, investors and innovators converge to redefine what it means to network and connect.

As Events Executive, you will be at the heart of our groundbreaking community.

Why Home Grown?
  1. Unique environment: Home Grown is the first of its kind.
  2. Join our family: Become part of the lifeblood of our Club – we are not just a venue; we are a lifestyle.
  3. Career growth: Elevate your career within a renowned establishment, with opportunities for advancement and skill development.
  4. Exceptional standards: Embrace our commitment to excellence in service, where attention to detail and impeccable presentation are paramount.
  5. Innovative atmosphere: Immerse yourself in the exciting energy of Home Grown.
What are we looking for?
  1. Ensure each event is effectively managed from pre-planning to beyond its completion.
  2. Positively approach sales opportunities in order to maximise revenue, including bedroom and restaurant reservations.
  3. Ensure every sales opportunity is realised and converted into a booking.
  4. Ensure the Events phones are covered at all times and make Reception aware if everyone is out of office.
  5. Stay informed of the goals and objectives of the Events team.
  6. Be aware of and strive to exceed the monthly sales targets and annual sales plan.
  7. Develop professional relationships with guests, members, potential members and external suppliers, acting as an ambassador of Home Grown at all times.
  8. Handle members and potential members in such a way that sales and profitability is maintained.
  9. Respond to client requests as soon as possible and preferably within 24 hours; if this is not possible for any reason, the client should be contacted with an update within 24 hours.
  10. Ensure that all menus and wine lists are up to date.
  11. Ensure effective diary management: follow up provisional bookings on a daily basis to make sure that all bookings in the diary are confirmed. If bookings are released, ensure that they are done so in a timely manner to free the space to potential opportunities.
  12. Ensure that each client is issued with a contract and the deposit schedule is adhered to.
  13. Liaise with clients to coordinate each private event in good time for the Function Sheet meeting in the preceding week. All details should be collated accurately on a function sheet ready for distribution.
  14. Order flowers, equipment, DJ, bands, entertainment or any other requests from nominated suppliers.
  15. Liaise with clients regarding any delivery and collection of event materials, communicating with the relevant team to ensure there are no mistakes.
  16. Liaise with the Events Operations team to ensure each event is run effectively and that all parties are aware of their responsibilities.
  17. Pass all details from the client, no matter how seemingly trivial or small, to the Events Operations team to ensure the smooth running of the event.
  18. Ensure all menus, place cards and table plans are completed one day prior to the event.
  19. Follow up all events to ascertain satisfaction levels.
In return, what do we offer?
  1. A supportive and inclusive work environment where your contributions are valued.
  2. Opportunities for career advancement and training, including access to exclusive events and networking.
  3. Competitive salary and pension.
  4. Private health insurance and Employee Assistance scheme.
  5. Gym and retail discounts.
  6. Complimentary meals on duty.
  7. In-House experiences at both Home Grown and Home House.
