We are looking for an experienced 3rd Line Shared Service Support Network Engineer (SD-WAN) to join our dynamic team in Bracknell. You'll play a crucial role in providing technical support for SD-WAN services, ensuring smooth network operations, and troubleshooting complex issues as part of our 3rd Line Support Team. Salary ranges between GBP45K - GBP50K, depending on experience. This role requires full-time on-site work and SC Clearance.
Responsibilities include:
Network Monitoring & Event Management via Orchestrator tools.
Conducting detailed investigations and diagnostics of network issues.
Creating workarounds, solutions, and mitigations for identified issues.
Escalating complex problems to product manufacturers when necessary.
Handling customer fault reports and technical inquiries, providing expert-level support.
Performing remote diagnostics and implementing approved configuration changes.
Assisting in the collation of performance & availability data.
Conducting testing and development in pre-production before rolling out to live environments.
Knowledge of IP, routing, encryption, and edge virtualization (VMware or Adva).
Understanding of network technologies in Cisco/Juniper environments.
Experience with MS Service Center Support Tool would be an added advantage.
This role requires SC Clearance, so you would need to either hold active SC Clearance or be eligible for Clearance - Sole British nationality is essential for this role due to the nature of the projects.
