Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Network Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge network infrastructure and contribute to the security and efficiency of their environment. We are looking for someone who can work on either a contract or permanent basis.

About the Role :

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our client's network infrastructure, with a focus on Cisco FTD and ACI technologies. You will play a critical role in ensuring network security, performance, and availability.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, configure, and maintain Cisco FTD firewalls and Cisco ACI fabric.
• Implement and manage EPG (Endpoint Group) rules within the Cisco ACI environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to FTD and ACI.
• Perform network security assessments and implement security best practices.
• Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless network integration.
• Create and maintain detailed network documentation.
• Participate in network upgrades and migrations.
• Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on Cisco technologies.
• Strong expertise in Cisco FTD firewall configuration and management.
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco ACI architecture and implementation.
• Hands-on experience creating and implementing EPG rules within ACI.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP / IP, routing, switching).
• Experience with network security best practices and technologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE).
• Experience with other network security technologies.
• Experience with network automation tools.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Ansible).
