Network Engineer
Position: Network Engineer
Location: Central Belt Area Scotland (Glasgow) and Highlands and Islands
Duration: 6 months, potentially leading to 9 months
Start Date: End of April
Responsibilities:
- Install and commission new routers on new BT circuits at various customer sites.
- Set up bridge calls with the commissioning team for testing and validation.
- Remove old Capita equipment after successful installation and testing.
- Provide excellent customer service and support during installations.
Requirements:
- Analytical Skills: Competent in analyzing and troubleshooting network issues.
- Customer Service: Ability to interact effectively with customers.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with data networking, including switches and routers. Process documentation and shadowing will be provided before lone working.
- Equipment: Laptop and console cables will be provided.
- Transportation: Own car required.
- Communication: Own mobile phone required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to climb steps on occasion.
