We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with a strong focus on Palo Alto and Azure technologies to join an international MSP. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network security, cloud infrastructure, and hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, particularly in Azure environments. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable network solutions that align with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, deploy, and manage network solutions using Palo Alto firewalls within Azure environments. Ensure that all solutions meet security, performance, and availability requirements.
2. Implement and manage network security policies using Palo Alto technologies, including advanced features such as Threat Prevention, URL Filtering, and Global Protect.
3. Integrate and manage Palo Alto firewalls in Azure, including setting up Virtual Network (VNet), VNet Peering, Azure Firewall, and ExpressRoute configurations.
4. Administer and maintain PAN-OS firewalls, including updating firmware, managing firewall policies, and analysing security and traffic logs.
5. Monitor network traffic, detect security threats, and respond to incidents. Perform regular security assessments and audits to ensure the integrity of the network.
6. Work closely with cloud architects, DevOps, and IT teams to design and implement network solutions that support business objectives.
7. Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including design diagrams, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
8. Stay up to date with the latest Palo Alto and Azure technologies, recommending improvements to existing network infrastructure and processes.

Skills:

1. Extensive experience with Palo Alto firewalls, including designing and managing high availability configurations and implementing security features.
2. In-depth knowledge of Azure networking services, including Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, VNet Peering, Azure Firewall, Load Balancers, and Network Security Groups.
3. Experience securing cloud environments using Palo Alto solutions, with a strong understanding of Azure security principles and best practices.
4. Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or PowerShell to streamline network deployments in Azure.
5. Experience with integrating Palo Alto firewalls with Active Directory Services (ADFS, SAML/SSO) and cloud-native security tools.

Certifications:

1. Palo Alto: PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer), PCCSE (Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer)
