You'll play a critical part in sustaining tenancies, ensuring community safety, and maintaining high standards across neighbourhoods, making a real difference to residents and the wider community.

The Role

  1. Deliver a proactive and effective neighbourhood management service, addressing tenancy breaches and anti-social behaviour within agreed timescales.
  2. Manage void properties, ensuring rapid turnaround and meeting performance targets for re-letting.
  3. Conduct welcome visits for new tenants, explain tenancy obligations, and identify vulnerabilities or safeguarding concerns to provide tailored support and referrals.
  4. Work with tenants, resident associations, and community groups to address local priorities, including organizing minor environmental clean-up campaigns.
  5. Collaborate with other teams, external agencies, and service providers to support community cohesion and resolve local issues effectively.
  6. Participate in regular inspections of communal areas and Independent Living Schemes, identifying and addressing repair or maintenance needs promptly.
  7. Maintain accurate records of actions, inspections, and referrals, ensuring compliance with policies and data protection standards.

The Ideal Candidate

  3. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively with residents, colleagues, and external partners.
  4. Confident using Microsoft Office and bespoke IT systems to maintain records and deliver results.
  5. Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required to meet the needs of the service.
  6. Strong understanding of local housing issues and a commitment to promoting equality and diversity in service delivery.
