Job description

I am working with a Multi-disciplinary consultancy to find an NEC4 Project Manager for a Secondment to work directly with a Local Authority in the South West and deliver a number of major highway improvement schemes.


These schemes include resurfacing, junction improvements, bus priority, and active travel infrastructure.


The ideal NEC Supervisor will have prior experience of a Local Authority major highways project, but this is not essential; if you are NEC4 Accredited, please do still apply.


NEC Supervisor Requirements
  1. Preferably be educated to Degree level or equivalent in Construction Project Management or related construction discipline (Building Surveyor, Architect, Quantity Surveyor, Civil Engineer, Project Management) or be able to demonstrate significant experience in the field.
  2. Be NEC4 accredited or hold equivalent professional qualification.
  3. Working knowledge of applicable industry standard forms of contract, NEC (3 & 4).
  4. Experience and knowledge of pre and post contracts, preparing contract documentation and administration.
  5. Infrastructure and Project Management experience within Highways, active travel, civil engineering, and public realm.
  6. Understanding and awareness of NEC suite of contracts, particularly Professional Service Contract (PSC) and Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC).
  7. Great communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
