Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Oversight:
- Provide operational financial leadership and oversight, ensuring the financial health and compliance of the organisation.
- Maintain robust financial controls.
- Team Management:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Recruit, hire, and train finance staff to meet the department's needs.
- Foster an inclusive, positive, and collaborative work environment.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Transaction Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end process of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
- Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes.
- Group Deadlines and Submissions:
- Co-ordinate and manage the timely submission of financial reports and data to group.
- Ensure compliance with group-wide financial policies and procedures.
- Statutory and Fiscal Filings:
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and fiscal reporting requirements, including tax returns, regulatory filings, and financial statements.
- Co-ordinate with external tax advisors and regulatory bodies.
- Liaison with External Payroll and Internal Treasury Department:
- Coordinate with external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Collaborate with the internal Treasury department to manage cash flow, investments, and risk.

This is a great role for an established Finance Controller with a keen interest in developing their skills and knowledge in a finance consulting environment. The ideal individual will have a collaborative and positive approach. This role will require occasional travel to other ERM offices across the UK.
