Health, Safety and Compliance Officer

Our client, a leader in their field, is looking for a motivated Health, Safety and Compliance Officer. This is a great opportunity to grow and develop with the business whilst maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. To be suitable for the role, you will need some experience in this area, but you may come from a different background where you use similar skills.

As the Health, Safety and Compliance Officer, you will hold the following responsibilities:

  • Motivate staff to adhere to health and safety practices
  • Performance monitoring and compliance
  • Collating statistical information for health and safety management
  • Evidence of compliance within auditing
  • Undertake inspections on site and working at heights
  • Present information in forms, tables and spreadsheets
  • Development of a robust management system
  • Assisting the directors in finding the right strategy for H&S moving forward
  • Supporting the senior staff to lead the H&S initiatives.

To be suitable for the role, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Used excel to a high standard, being able to create spreadsheets in a presentable format
  • Previous experience with health & safety and compliance
  • NEBOSH qualified
  • Be someone who can find ways of motivating others
  • Self-motivated and keen to learn
  • Able to pay attention to detail and self-check
  • Full clean driving license and own transport is an advantage due to the location of the offices.
