NDT Technician Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Location: 10 minute drive from Uxbridge
Hours: 37 hours a week, early Friday finish
Start Date: ASAP

Are you an experienced NDT Technician looking for a new opportunity in a high-precision engineering environment? We are recruiting for an NDT Technician (Level 2) to join a well-established manufacturing business based near Uxbridge. This role is critical to ensuring the quality and integrity of components through non-destructive testing (NDT) processes.

Role Responsibilities
As an NDT Technician (Level 2), your main duties will include:

1. Conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) of materials following technical specifications and quality procedures.
2. Assembling test items per engineering drawings and company procedures.
3. Monitoring shielding levels in the radiographic facility and ensuring compliance with national safety standards.
4. Completing chemical testing for DPI/MPI processes to verify material and facility efficiency.
5. Generating and maintaining accurate test and inspection documentation in line with quality policies.
6. Using SAP to record work in progress, track component batches, and maintain accurate location records.
7. Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and health & safety regulations at all times.
8. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S activities and Lean manufacturing principles.

Who We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have:

1. Level 2 Certification in PCN or NAS 410 (X-Ray/MPI/DPI).
2. Experience with inspection tools and computerised inspection systems.
3. Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
4. A background in aerospace testing or precision manufacturing (preferred).
5. Basic PC and SAP skills.
6. Solid data analysis and verbal communication skills.
7. A keen eye for detail and high levels of concentration.
