NDT Technician Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Hours: 37 hours a week, early Friday finish

Are you an experienced NDT Technician looking for a new opportunity in a high-precision engineering environment? We are recruiting for an NDT Technician (Level 2) to join a well-established manufacturing business based near Uxbridge. This role is critical to ensuring the quality and integrity of components through non-destructive testing (NDT) processes.

Role Responsibilities
As an NDT Technician (Level 2), your main duties will include:
- Conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) of materials following technical specifications and quality procedures.
- Assembling test items per engineering drawings and company procedures.
- Monitoring shielding levels in the radiographic facility and ensuring compliance with national safety standards.
- Completing chemical testing for DPI/MPI processes to verify material and facility efficiency.
- Generating and maintaining accurate test and inspection documentation in line with quality policies.
- Using SAP to record work in progress, track component batches, and maintain accurate location records.
- Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and health & safety regulations at all times.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S activities and Lean manufacturing principles.
Who We're Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you should have:
- Level 2 Certification in PCN or NAS 410 (X-Ray/MPI/DPI).
- Experience with inspection tools and computerised inspection systems.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- A background in aerospace testing or precision manufacturing (preferred).
- Basic PC and SAP skills.
- Solid data analysis and verbal communication skills.
- A keen eye for detail and high levels of concentration.
