We seek a Natural Product Chemist to lead purification pipelines and structural characterisation of bioactive molecules from plant extracts. You'll work with cutting-edge technology for extraction, purification, and analysis, collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
- Extract and purify small molecules from plant material
- Characterise complex molecular structures
- Optimise purification processes
- Collaborate across scientific disciplines
- PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
- Expertise in LCMS, HPLC, and NMR (1D & 2D) for natural product purification and characterisation
- Strong problem-solving and independent research skills
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Experience in metabolomics for compound identification
- Knowledge of terpenoids or similar molecules
- Proficiency in purifying small quantities from complex extracts
