Sales Manager - UK & Ireland (selling into the NHS/Pharma/Lab industry)

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to drive new business, leverage a strong network, and be part of their ambitious growth plans. Overview of the role

Title: Sales Manager

Role: Full time, Permanent

Location: Home based with travel, in UK or Ireland

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience plus bonus

Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, company car plus more!

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and execute new business development strategies to drive revenue growth.
  2. Leverage your existing network within the medical/healthcare sector, including key NHS contacts, to secure new business opportunities.
  3. Identify and approach potential clients, building strong, long-term relationships to expand the company's footprint.
  4. Work closely with senior leadership to shape sales strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  5. Act as the face of the company in the healthcare/pharma sector, representing the brand and fostering trust within your network.
  6. Track, manage, and report on sales activities, ensuring targets and KPIs are consistently met.
Experience & Skills Required:
  1. Proven experience in a sales management role, specifically having sold within the medical industry (NHS and similar)
  2. Engineering degree or background.
  3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
  4. A strategic mindset, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities effectively.
  5. Well connected within the pharmaceutical sector.
  6. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and business development.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
