Following significant investment and ambitious future plans, the business is now looking for a Foodservice National Account Manager to lead the growth and development of this channel.
Role
This is a newly created role, driven by the business’s exceptional growth and its ambition to enter and excel in the Foodservice channel.
As Foodservice National Account Manager, you will take ownership of the overall growth strategy, budget delivery, and customer relationships across the Out of Home and Foodservice channels. Reporting to the Impulse & Out of Home Controller, you will be a key part of the wider Sales function, with significant opportunities to develop and progress within the business.
In the early stages, the role will focus heavily on identifying and winning new business opportunities as part of the channel's development. Once secured, you will take full ownership of these customer relationships and their growth trajectory.
Success in this role will require cross-functional collaboration, working closely with teams across Category, Trade Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Brand. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the company’s next phase of growth and to shape its success in a key strategic area.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be operating at Junior National Account Manager or NAM level within a branded FMCG food or drink business or a leading National Wholesaler such as Brakes or Bidfood, with a well-established network in the Out of Home and Foodservice channels, ideally Buying Groups & the associated members. They will be a driven, energetic, and passionate individual who thrives on achieving ambitious new business targets and takes full ownership of their customer relationships.
With strong commercial acumen and influencing skills, the successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter, willing to travel across the UK to engage with both new and existing customers. A growth mindset, combined with the drive and determination to seize new opportunities, is essential.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys taking on significant responsibility, and possesses excellent communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.
Location
This is a home-based role with the successful candidate expected to visit their South East office once a fortnight.
