Our Retail Vertical Sales Team partners with the UK’s leading retailers to drive digital transformation using the Salesforce Customer 360 platform.

We are looking for a Named Account Executive (AE2) to support the team managing a portfolio of top UK retail brands. This is a highly strategic role where you will play a critical part in pipeline generation, deal execution, and relationship-building with key stakeholders across some of the most recognisable retail names in the UK.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Support the AE1 in managing a portfolio of top-tier UK retail accounts, working closely to drive revenue growth and strategic account expansion.
  2. Develop and execute account strategies that align Salesforce’s solutions with customer business objectives, supporting retail digital transformation.
  3. Own pipeline generation and early-stage sales cycles, proactively identifying new opportunities within the existing account base.
  4. Build strong relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders in IT, Marketing, and Digital teams to position Salesforce as a trusted advisor.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams including Solution Engineers, Industry Leads, and Customer Success to deliver tailored solutions.
  6. Stay ahead of retail trends and understand how Salesforce’s technology can solve key industry challenges like omni-channel commerce, personalisation, AI-driven insights, and operational efficiency.
  7. Meet and exceed pipeline and sales activity targets, contributing to overall revenue growth for the Retail Vertical.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Proven B2B sales experience (SaaS, CRM, or enterprise software preferred) with a track record of developing and progressing pipeline.
  2. Experience selling to Retail, Consumer Goods, or eCommerce organisations is highly desirable.
  3. Strong understanding of the retail industry’s challenges and trends, including omni-channel commerce, digital transformation, and customer experience innovation.
  4. Ability to build relationships with senior decision-makers and collaborate effectively in a strategic sales environment.
  5. Passion for innovation, learning, and working in a high-performing, team-oriented sales culture.
  6. Salesforce experience or ecosystem knowledge is a plus but not required.
