Nail Technician

We are looking for a fabulous Nail Technician for our upscale beauty salon in Bayswater, Fyre Beauty Lounge.

Job Description:

1. Welcoming and greeting customers.
2. Perform all aspects of Nail treatments such as Japanese, Russian, and Classic Manicures & Pedicures, Shellac Manicures & Pedicures, Gel overlays and Extensions (Gel, Polygel, Apres), and Nail arts.
3. Personalized recommendations for treatments & retail products.
4. Retail of Products and Treatments.
5. Keeping work station and tools up to a high standard of cleanliness and strict sterilization routine between clients.
6. Ensure the safety and well-being of all clients at all times.
7. Provide a friendly and efficient service to all customers/guests at all times, maintaining a high standard of customer service.
8. Answering the phone in reception when available.
9. Managing online booking systems and keeping bookings up to date when available.
10. Re-booking of clients when available.
11. Taking payments when available.

Key Skills & Person Specification:

1. Good English language skills.
2. Immaculate and professional appearance.
3. Fully trained and qualified.
4. Friendly but professional approach to customers.
5. Experience and passion for beautiful nails, manicures, pedicures, extensions, and overlays with gel tips or forms made with gel; experience with PolyGel and Russian manicure is an advantage.
6. Fantasy and creativity for Nail-art.
7. Good knowledge of different types of Nail and Skin treatments.
8. Passion for the latest products and techniques.
9. Good retail skills.
10. Friendly, sociable individual with a teachable spirit.
11. Motivated to earn more money.
12. Service-minded team player.
13. Good time management; calm under pressure.
14. High standard of customer service.

Desirable Skills (but not essential):

1. Ability to do other beauty treatments (Beauty, PMU, Lashes, Hair).
