Job Description

The Cybersecurity Consultant Security Operations Center works on a variety of topics within our growing team. If you feel ready to shape the future together with us, please expect involvement in the following exciting topics:

SoC Operation

  1. Manage Crowdstrike MDR: Escalate MDR alerts, handle incidents according to playbooks, add business context to events, and manage actions.
  2. Accountable to investigate endpoint/sensor tampering alerts and ensure repairs are completed by responsible teams.
  3. Oversee and manage the 3rd party teams working in the SoC, to ensure detection and response for topics such as EDR, SIEM, KPI, and report analysis.
  4. Support the continuous development of SoC capabilities.
  5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop cybersecurity maturity in our organization and scale Cybersecurity according to business needs.

Qualifications

  1. Relevant (best case academic) degree or comparable Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, GISP, ...) and 3-5 years of equivalent experience.
  2. Excellent working knowledge of up-to-date cybersecurity tools and structures.
  3. Knowledge of automation and programming would be desirable.
  4. Knowledge of client, server, and cloud infrastructure and mutual understanding of applications architecture.
  5. English language skills (written and spoken).
  6. IT service management skills (ITIL) – would be desirable.
  7. Experience in Cybersecurity related environments (focus SoC, Pentesting, Threat Hunting, Incident Response, Forensics).
  8. Experience in project management.
  9. Experience in a global and multicultural company.

Experience in the following areas would be desirable for this role:
- Incident Response
- Security Monitoring via usage of a SIEM to analyze logs and alerts.
