In the heart of Tower Hamlets, an 'Outstanding' Secondary School is on the hunt for a Music Teacher / Music ECT for an ASAP / January start. This is a permanent, full-time contract.

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Music Teacher / Music ECT who is keen to add value to an expanding Music Department. The School is renowned for its supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

The School is well invested in the Education sector, setting new teaching practices, as well as training their own and new staff. It's an exciting time at the School!

Experienced Music Teachers can take on a TLR such as KS3 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibility, and more. Newly Qualified Music Teachers (ECT) will be enrolled onto the School's bespoke ECT induction and will work alongside a range of young and experienced Music Teachers.

• ECTs welcome: 1:1 Mentor, bespoke ECT induction, in-house training, and more
• ASAP / January Start - Full Time & Permanent
• MPS1-UPS3 - £36,571 - £56,135 + TLR (Size depending on experience)
• Located in the Borough of Tower Hamlets

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
• Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels, and GCSEs
• Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
• You must be able to work as part of a large team of Music Teachers
• Must be willing to listen to feedback
