Music Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Are you a creative and enthusiastic Music Teacher seeking a long-term opportunity?

We are actively recruiting for an experienced Music Teacher to provide maternity cover on a full-time basis from April 2025 onwards. The Christian Secondary School located in Leeds is seeking a talented and organised Teacher to join their Music Department, delivering outstanding lessons to pupils across key stages 3-4 in the Teacher's absence. You will ideally have strong knowledge of the Music curriculum and previous experience in a similar role. Part-time applications may be considered as part of a job share.

The Academy School offers a successful, caring, and supportive environment for staff and pupils, with a strong staff team that works together to ensure students are academically challenged and receive excellent pastoral support and guidance. You will join a safe and caring Christian School that consistently strives for excellence in everything they do.

You can expect to earn up to £230 per day for this role, dependent on experience. We welcome applications from ECTs and experienced Teachers.

We are seeking a Teacher with:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
• Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
• An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
• Right to Work in the UK; unfortunately, we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
