Music Teacher needed for SEND School across Birmingham.

Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Are you a dedicated and supportive Music Teacher?
Do you have a good understanding of the national curriculum? Are you able to deliver engaging lessons to secondary age students who have mental health needs and young people disengaged with their education?

A specialist Music Teacher is required for long term supply cover to work across 2 SEND schools in Birmingham with hopes to start after the Easter break 2025.

The role will be delivering an engaging curriculum and requires a versatile Music Teacher who is creative and caring in their approach. The group of schools has a team of dedicated Teaching Assistants and specialist support staff who provide fantastic support to the students.

The students are vulnerable and may need that little bit extra support to develop socially as well as academically. The successful Music Teacher will have excellent communication skills and be able to engage students through creative teaching.

This group of schools has an excellent reputation and is a great place to work; the staff are welcoming, friendly and supportive of one another.

The ideal Teacher will have:

• UK QTS with SEND experience.
• Specialty in teaching Music.
• The ability to follow the National Curriculum and provide creative lessons.
• A full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
• A positive approach to teaching.
• The ability to build good relationships with the staff and pupils.
• Fantastic classroom management.
