GSL Education London Branch are looking for a Music Teacher to join a vibrant co-educational secondary school in Newham. If you are a passionate Music Teacher with a talent for inspiring students and a love for teaching, this is a fantastic opportunity for you!

Responsibilities of a Music Teacher:

1. Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons to students of varying abilities.
2. Encourage creativity and musical expression through practical and theoretical teaching.
3. Prepare students for performances, concerts, and exams.
4. Support students in developing their skills in singing, instruments, and composition.
5. Maintain a positive classroom environment where all students feel valued.
6. Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
7. Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to extracurricular music activities.
8. Ensure lessons are in line with the school's curriculum and policies.

Requirements for a Music Teacher:

1. Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Experience as a Music Teacher in a UK secondary school is desirable.
3. Strong knowledge of different musical styles, instruments, and composition techniques.
4. Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
5. Passion for music education and the ability to engage and motivate students.
6. A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
