Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a qualified Music teacher looking for a new role from April 2024 in Manchester?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a talented music teacher to join a secondary academy in south Manchester from April 2024 to July 2024.

This is a full-time temporary supply teacher role.

The Role

Teacher of Music

Teaching understanding music, music composition and music performance with a focus on innovative practical lessons with strong behaviour management.

Experience of teaching music technology and a good understanding of teaching composition using a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) would be beneficial.

The ability to teach other subjects such as drama or performing arts to Key Stage 3 would also be advantageous.

The academy is interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers, experienced QTS practitioners, and further education music specialists with experience of teaching music to students aged 11 to 16.

Five days a week.

Requirements

• Hold QTS Status, QTLS, or equivalent further education qualifications such as PGCE14+ or Certificate of Education.
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
• Provide a CV with full employment/education history included; any employment breaks must be explained.
• Have the legal right to work full time in the UK.
