The faculty sits within a large, brand new performing arts department who have seen a new recording studio fitted as well as an Apple Technology Suite designed bespoke for recording and producing.
Performing Arts at this school has a large, high achieving uptake up to KS5 with your role comprising of only GCSE Music and A-Level, without any KS3. Despite its large uptake, the headteacher has ensured class sizes remain smaller across all subjects, allocating 2 hours of additional PPA for classes, which is 10% over the average for the school.
The school values promoting a nurturing and supportive education, encouraging students to pursue their own passions instead of solely traditional academia. They also pride themselves on playing to their staff's strengths, offering appropriate TLRs to match this.
