Music Teacher

Location: Hackney
Salary: £185 - £265 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long Term until July 2025

GSL Education London Branch are looking for a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join a vibrant coeducational secondary school and sixth form in Hackney. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Music Teacher to inspire students and help them develop their musical talents at Key Stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities of the Music Teacher:

  1. Plan and deliver engaging Music Teacher lessons for KS3 and KS4 students.
  2. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  3. Encourage students to develop their musical skills through practical and theoretical lessons.
  4. Organise and support school music performances and extracurricular activities.
  5. Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
  6. Work collaboratively with the wider faculty and school staff.

Requirements for the Music Teacher:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  2. Experience teaching music at KS3 and KS4 levels.
  3. Strong classroom management skills.
  4. Ability to inspire and motivate students through dynamic teaching methods.
  5. Passion for music and a commitment to student success.
