About the Team: TikTok continues to unlock opportunities for artists and labels, with a brilliantly engaged community who love to build connections with artists and their music. The team is working globally and locally with artists, managers and labels to unleash the promotional and marketing power of TikTok, helping talents to secure success on the platform, music streaming, hit charts and brand collaborations.
Responsibilities:
- Relationship management - Build and maintain strong relationships with DSP partners across the EMEA region.
- Lead strategy and advise internal and management teams on the most effective release and streaming approaches to maximise release day impact.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing and promo teams to develop strategies that enhance artist propositions and streaming narratives.
- Establish and nurture relationships with independent curators, pitching and securing playlist placements, features, and other promotional opportunities for our artists.
- Ensure all major EMEA releases are pitched on time, communicating regularly with DSP partners.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure marketing plans, data and information is shared in a timely manner.
- Continue to foster and expand your strong network of key contacts at both UK and international DSPs.
- Maintain a solid understanding of platform features that artists can leverage to maximise their presence and audience.
- Analyse track performance and highlight key data points for significant releases, using these insights to support pitching efforts.
- Track post-release performance, re-pitching tracks with growth potential.
- Regularly monitor and communicate playlist performance, audience and follower growth.
- Identify playlisting and streaming opportunities for both new and catalog releases.
- Create streaming reports and trackers to analyse playlist and track performance to establish benchmarks and develop strategies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of the streaming landscape and playlisting, particularly with major DSPs such as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, and YouTube.
- Proven track record working within a music environment, as this role will have involved a significant element of communicating directly with DSP’s.
- A robust network within local and international music execs to effectively promote songs through radio, TV, and digital channels.
- Extensive experience and passion for music in Europe, the UK, Africa, and the Middle East.
- Strong data analysis skills to review, forecast, and make informed financial decisions based on data.
- Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively in an agile environment.
- Proficient use of Spotify for artists, Apple Music for artists, chart metric, DISCO, feature fm.
- Full proficiency in English, both verbal & written.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Min. bachelor's degree from any major.
- 5+ years of experience in DSP pitching across a diverse portfolio of genres and artists.
- Good work ethic, self-motivated, and results-driven, with cross-cultural empathy.
