Hurunui College is a Y1–13 area school that offers a positive work-life balance and a supportive working environment in the rural township of Hawarden, located 50 minutes north of Christchurch in North Canterbury. We are seeking an energetic, passionate and highly motivated teacher of music (Y9–13) and digital technology (Y7–8 & Y11–13) to cover sabbatical leave (from 28 April 2025 to 27 June 2025).

Our successful candidate will teach and learn alongside experienced and supportive teachers and support staff and will be committed to working collaboratively. The applicant will contribute to our positive learning environment and will value establishing and maintaining high trust and positive relationships with our ākonga, whānau and staff, as well as the wider school community.
