Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer - Salary £45,000 per annum - Days Monday - Friday
My client is looking to hire an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer working in a food production business.
They are a leading name in their sector and have a fantastic reputation as a great place to work. The business looks after its staff and is proud of its products.
- Preventative maintenance on machines and equipment;
- Responding to emergency breakdowns throughout the plant;
- Getting involved in project work and continuous improvement drives;
- Ensure servicing and maintenance cause as little disruption to production as possible;
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and correctly with appropriate records being available for updating;
- Play an active role in any continuous improvement teams ensuring that technological advancement is embraced.
Must be time served / NVQ level 3 - must be proactive and have a systematic approach to problem solving. Good communication skills. Experience in a FMCG / Food environment would be ideal.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years Maintenance experience in an engineering / manufacturing environment;
- Ideally HNC or Time served / NVQ level 3;
- Ideally 17th / 18th Edition;
- Experience with typical food / FMCG machinery.
