Job description

Join an exciting growing business who specialise in manufacturing products for the civil engineering and construction industries. Working in an autonomous role, the company is part of a global group offering stability, whilst the site maintains a family feel. With several rounds of capex investment going into the plant, this role offers an exciting blend of maintenance work and capex projects which will provide the stimulating challenge you require. Working on a day's basis with a rewarding package, it ticks all the boxes.


This role is ideal for a skilled Electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician with experience in chemical or manufacturing environments. It suits someone with a time-served electrical or mechanical apprenticeship, knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems, and hands-on experience with pump, valve, and pipework repairs. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset are essential. Atex/CompEx experience is desirable.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical (single/3-phase) and mechanical systems, including pumps and pipework.
  2. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, such as ATEX inspections, PAT testing, and safety checks.
  3. Contribute to process safety management, including SIL checks and hazardous area equipment inspections.
  4. Identify opportunities for operational improvement and assist with implementing modifications.
  5. Support a culture of safety, professionalism, and excellence in maintenance operations.

The role comes with a great package. The company offers a competitive salary of £43,000, with a performance-related bonus, EAP programme, health insurance, cycle to work and standard pension contributions. They offer 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, which can be bought and sold, with the opportunity for overtime also available.
