Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer - Salary 45,000 per annum - Days Monday - Friday

My client is looking to hire an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer working in a food production business.

They are a leading name in their sector and have a fantastic reputation as a great place to work. The business looks after its staff and is proud of its products.

Duties to include but not limited to:

1. Preventative maintenance on machines and equipment;
2. Responding to emergency breakdowns throughout the plant;
3. Getting involved in project work and continuous improvement drives;
4. Ensure servicing and maintenance cause as little disruption to production as possible;
5. Ensure all work is carried out safely and correctly with appropriate records being available for updating;
6. Play an active role in any continuous improvement teams ensuring that technological advancement is embraced.

The Ideal Person:

Must be time served / NVQ level 3 - must be proactive and have a systematic approach to problem solving. Good communication skills. Experience in a FMCG / Food environment would be ideal.

Required Qualifications:

1. Must have a minimum 2 years Maintenance experience in an engineering / manufacturing environment;
2. Ideally HNC or Time served / NVQ level 3;
3. Ideally 17th / 18th Edition;
4. Experience with typical food / FMCG machinery.

Salary: 45,000 Per Annum

1. Maintenance Technician: 2 years (Required)
2. Previous Food / FMCG experience
