ACDC Dynamics, a leading manufacturer, importer, and distributor of quality products in the electrical, electronics, pumps, and tools industry, is looking for an experienced and dynamic Multimedia Designer and Digital Marketing Co-Ordinator to contribute to our company’s objectives.
Purpose of the Role
This role requires the multimedia designer to develop special effects using audio, video, graphics, and other electronic media. Your job duties include preparing project proposals and developing mockups for approval. You will be required to organize social media sites, create online content, and analyze digital marketing trends.
Key Performance Areas
Video:
- Write compelling scripts for a variety of videos: Testimonials, Technical Information, Corporate Videos.
- Conduct shoots using filmmaking principles (i.e., applying rule of thirds, capturing cutaways, directing interviews, capturing clear audio using microphone, ability to operate DSLR Cameras).
- Conduct post-production functions including Video Editing, Basic Sound Design, Sound Editing, and selecting appropriate music or score.
- Create appropriate motion graphics in line with video requirements: Lower Thirds, Title Sequences, banners, bumpers, and any additional graphics needed to amplify the narrative.
- Knowledge of best rendering and exporting practices including Codecs, Formats, and Aspect Ratio.
Graphic Design:
Conceptualization: The ability to creatively conceptualize different graphic assets for short, medium, and long-term campaigns. Be able to execute graphics assets i.e., Logo Design, Layout Design, Typography, etc. Execute graphics assets as required, being considerate about format i.e., Social Media, Print, Digital. Execute briefs in short turnaround times.
Digital Marketing:
- Write short-form, relevant, and eye-catching copy for various media including Social Media, Mailers, etc.
- Ensure that Social Media posts are regularly and appropriately scheduled to ensure regular engagement with the audience.
- Plan and coordinate a social media plan to ensure that audience engagement and growth are upheld across main platforms.
- Conceptualize paid campaigns including PPC, Lead, and Engagement to achieve set goals.
- Be knowledgeable about reporting tools and practices.
- Coordinate Ambassadors and Influencers to ensure goals are met.
Job Requirements:
2-3 years in a similar role.
