Multi Trader (General Builder)
Self-Employed Long Term Ongoing Role
Location: Alton, Hampshire - Own transport required.
Pay: Rate dependent upon experience
Hours: 08:00 to 17:00, Mondays to Fridays
Reed Recruitment is recruiting for a Multi Trader (General Builder) for our client based in Alton. Our client provides quality building services, such as extensions and refurbishments, to private domestic clients throughout North Hampshire, typically serving the communities from Winchester to Guildford, and Basingstoke to Petersfield.
You can expect an ongoing long-term position, with no end date in sight if you meet the below requirements:
- Run jobs and take the hands-on lead
- Read and interpret drawings
- Supervise one or two labourers
- Possess good overall general building skills - carpentry, plumbing, tiling, painting, foundations, brickwork, etc.
- Work unsupervised once the director lays out the job and report back with developments and any issues.
- Be polite and professional within clients' properties
- Own transport and a reasonable bank of tools
