We are looking for a Multi Trade Operative to join our team based in Sheffield and surrounding areas. Please note, you may be required to work further afield as the contract demands. All travel times will be considered as part of working hours. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, working 40 hours per week and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of 34,067.75 plus on target earnings, along with a company van, fuel card, and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities for this Multi Trade Operative role are:

• Repair, renew, and fit roofing trusses for traditional, hips and valleys, and repair, renew, and fit soffit fascia and barge boards.
• Repair and renew ceiling and floor joists, stairs, studding, partition walls, T and G or sheet flooring.
• Repair and renew doors and door casing, skirting, handrails, balustrades, pipe boards, and ducting panelling.
• Repair and renew kitchen units, worktops, and decorative finishes.
• Repair, replace, and fit ironmongery to doors and windows.
• Repair and renew timber and UPVC window frames.
• Reglaze timber fencing and gates.
• Multi-trade skilled operative capable of completing works in other construction trades including patching, plastering, wall and floor tiling, and minor plumbing activities.

What we are looking for in our ideal Multi Trade Operative:

Must have time served or completed a recognised Apprenticeship and qualification (NVQ L2/L3). Experience of working as a Multi Trade Joiner/Plumber and the installation of wet rooms and disabled adaptations is required.

Competent in all aspects of the Joiner and/or Plumbing trade discipline. Plastering trade discipline is desirable.

Ability to carry out multi-skill trades, with core joinery or plumbing experience, and experience working within a social housing environment is desirable.

A driving licence is essential.

Skilled workers will hold a CSCS card, have asbestos awareness, and possess their own tools.
