Job Title: Multi-Skilled Production Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Location: Longridge

Remuneration: £45,000 - £51,000

Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time

Responsibilities:

Join our client's dynamic team as a Multi-Skilled Production Engineer! In this pivotal role, you'll leverage your mechanical and electrical expertise to ensure their production processes run smoothly. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Conducting fault investigations up to PLC level and resolving issues efficiently.
2. Performing maintenance and repairs on a wide range of machinery, including robots, conveyors, and food processing equipment.
3. Executing electrical tasks such as sensor fixes, motor swaps, and inverter drives installation.
4. Engaging in proactive problem-solving and suggesting improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
5. Collaborating with a team to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

1. Strong industrial work experience, alongside relevant mechanical and electrical skills.
2. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering and 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
3. Familiarity with PLC systems, including interrogation and modification (programming not required).
4. A proactive approach to learning and a desire to develop further skills and qualifications, such as becoming a Lean Champion.
5. Flexibility to perform shift work as required.

2. Experience in fault finding and maintenance of 3-phase systems.
3. Knowledge of mechanical systems, including bearings, pneumatics, and conveyor repairs.
4. A background in process environments will be advantageous.
