An established industry player is seeking a skilled Multi Trade Operative to join their dynamic team in Sheffield. Experience as a Multi Trade Joiner/Plumber with installation skills.

Repair kitchen units, doors, and window frames.

Our client, a leading social housing contractor has an exciting opportunity for a Multi Trade Operative to join their team based in Sheffield and surrounding areas, including Leeds, Bradford, Doncaster and Huddersfield.

Please note, you may be required to work further afield as the contract demands. All travel times will be considered as part of working hours.

Working hours: 40 hours per week

Rate: £20-21 p/h CIS

Responsibilities for the Multi Trade Operative role are:

Repair /renew/ fit roofing trusses for traditional, hips and valleys and repair/ renew/fit soffit fascia and barge boards
Repair/ renew ceiling and floor joists, stairs, studding, partition walls, T and G or sheet flooring
Repair/ renew doors and door casing, skirting, handrails, balustrades, pipe boards and ducting panelling
Repair/ renew kitchen units, work tops and decorative finishes
Repair/ renew timber and UPVC window frames
Reglaze timber fencing and gates
Be multi-skilled in trades including patching, plastering, wall and floor tiling and minor plumbing activities

What we are looking for in our ideal Multi Trade Operative:

NVQ L2/L3 in Joinery/Plumbing
Experience of working as a Multi Trade Joiner/Plumber and the installation of wet rooms & Disabled adaptions
Competent in all aspects of the Joiner and/or Plumbing trade discipline. Plastering trade discipline (desirable)
Experience working within a social housing environment (desirable).

The ideal candidate will hold a valid Driving licence and will hold a CSCS card.
